I am a tutor currently based in Forest Hill, in the London Borough of Lewisham. I am available to deliver lessons near the local area in the daytime, and usually tutor throughout South East London after school has finished. Please get in touch for a referral to the agency I work through.

I have worked in education since graduating from my MA in 2013. I worked for 4 years at a secondary school as an Academic Mentor for English, where I taught small groups and provided one-to-one tuition. I went on to teach English as a Foreign Language in Vietnam, and in Spain. I returned the the UK in 2017, and I have been working as a self-employed private tutor since then, as well as teaching EFL in the summer.

I also have lived experience with autism and dyspraxia, and have worked with students with a range of educational needs. I aim to build a positive rapport with my students and provide a learning environment that balances empathy and enjoyment with work that challenges and inspires students. As well as private tuition, I also provide Alternative Education tuition, working within the community in various settings through Local Authorities.

I specialise in tutoring students in English, EFL and 11+ Exam Preparation. My students have had a 100% success rate for being accepted into their chosen school. My current rate is £50 per hour, with an agreed block of lessons to be paid up front. Currently, tuition is taking place both in-person and online via Zoom.
